Speedy Reference - June 2014

Finally got around to drawing her again~ It's been a while c:

Brand new reference sheet for Speedy! Would have made a back view but I'm just trying to get something finished for once and I've had enough of this thing

Sexual Orientation: Hetero-romantic Asexual (romantically attracted to the opposite gender)

Speedy can literally remove their own wings by burning them off using magic, leaving two small black nubs on her back just beneath her shoulder blades. She can then regrow the wings at will. The process is practically instantaneous, painless and involves coloured flames~

(note: many of these are due to my small studies of anatomy between the last ref and this one, and so are less design changes as they are improvements in my artistic skills

Shorter, stockier build - didn't like the noodle legs or tiny head so I changed it
Modified ears - shout out to B33B for his drawing of Speedy that inspired these~
Fluffy head - the back of her head is covered in grey fluff now. Blame B33B for that too
Neck fluff connected to chest fluff - B33B again damn you
Tail spines now separate towards the tail tip - B33B; go lick his butt
Modified wing membranes - membrane between body and fourth finger now connects differently _{B33B again you magnificent bastard}
Fluffier body and tail -_{you know who to blame at this point -w-}
Snout wrinkle - I doodled this once whilst practicing expressions and wanted to keep it~ it's cute
